A Threat From the Past (The White Dragon Saga Book 1) by Author Paul Cude – Book Review

An original twist.

A brilliant fantasy tale of Dragons and fiery battles, of learning to harness and control the gift of life.

It’s an interesting angle of the nurturing of these mythical beasts, all of which are more human than one could possibly imagine.

Immediately thrust into a dark and fire-scorched land, the author introduces us to a very rare insight into the origins of England’s patron saint, George and his dragon. But this is not what we have heard from tales passed down from generation to generation.

“If only they knew the truth,” said George.

The good folks of the city waved him off believing he had conjured some sort of miracle to defeat the murderous dragon. But the truth was far darker than fiction, and thus not ready to be disclosed to the humans that loved him so.

George harbours a dark heart. He has a secret.

The book is vibrant with beautiful imagery and colour, of which would be a crime to divulge in this review and spoil the journey the reader is about to embark upon. There are so many morals to learn from this text.

‘A Threat From the Past’ is a brilliant book, for which I award 4 stars.
