The Birth of The Panids’ Children
First, Lee drew a map. As he looked at it, stories began to grow. Soon, the land of Koa came alive. Now, it shapes every tale he writes.
Themes and Inspiration
Lee loves to write about time and change. He shows how the past touches today. In his books, bad guys can become victims. Heroes can rise from quiet places.
The World-Building Process
Lee wanted to share old tales through the Panids’ eyes. Young heroes learn from wise teachers. As war nears, big events mix with small battles. Thus, every story adds to the magic.
The Series Development
Today, the Panids series has five books. Two more will end the tale. Meanwhile, Lee writes stories from the past. These tell how the Panids began. Through it all, he shows how yesterday shapes tomorrow.
