About the Author

Deborah Barwick worked in banking, and then aromatherapy, before turning to writing fantasy realism fiction in 2015. Her debut novel, The Chronicle of the Well: Awakenings, is the first instalment of The Raven Saga. Part Two, The Chronicle of the Lake: Blood Brothers, released autumn 2017 for sale, is available as either paperback or Kindle edition. Book Three, The Chronicle of the Damned: The Giric Stone launched spring 2019. Number Four, a prequel with the working title ‘From Darkness’ is already underway.

She plays alto sax in a local band, and teaches a weekly tap dancing class.
Loves: egg-mayo sandwiches, cheese ‘n onion crisps, dark rum, walks in the countryside, kind hearts.
Loathes: celery, beer, daddy-long-legs, people who don’t indicate at roundabouts.

Deborah lives in the beautiful northeast of England with her husband, a crazy rescue dog, three black cats, and a coop-ful of hens. No raven…yet.
