Bits & Bobs contains ten stories and four poems in a number of genres including science fiction, fantasy, supernatural, historical fiction, reflection and contemporary. They are based mostly on the themes of time and travel, past, present and future. Each story and poem comes with a pre-page giving a brief explanation of the inspiration behind it. Although diverse in subject matter emotive themes thread them together, for example, overcoming difficulties or unusual situations with determination and a sense of hope. Some require decisions, small or large to be made by the characters.
