Demons & Damnation – Book Tour

Cover Blurb

Some say all it takes is one day to change a life. Kyla Marshall would beg to differ. She knows all it takes is a single, fiery act of rebellion.

When Kyla accidentally sets an ancient oak tree ablaze, she unknowingly triggers a series of events that would make even the Devil raise an eyebrow. Enter Azazel and Balthazar, two of Lucifer’s most notorious Princes of Hell, currently on their annual three-month vacation in a sleepy English village.

Wrapped up in their own bitter feud and sibling rivalry, these demons have no idea they’re about to become the catalyst for a woman teetering on the edge of darkness.

Witnessing one of their explosive arguments firsthand, Kyla’s dormant rage awakens, threatening to consume her entirely. As she delves deeper into the supernatural world, seeking answers, Kyla discovers her own place within it—and a whole lot of power to go with it.

While the demon brothers trade barbs and blows, Kyla battles her inner demons, struggling to control her newfound abilities before they control her.

But there’s a dark, sinister force lurking on the horizon, one that not even the Princes of Hell saw coming.

Can Kyla master her powers before she loses herself to the darkness? Will Azazel and Balthazar stop bickering long enough to help her? Or will they all fall victim to the evil creeping ever closer?

Prepare for a wickedly humorous and devilishly steamy tale of power, darkness, and the thin line between salvation and sin.

Trigger Warning:

It is full of angst, triggers, blood, and spice. I’d hate for anyone who is easily offended or who doesn’t like descriptive sex to get a hold of this. My demons do demon things, and my FMC is rather tortured and follows her emotions spontaneously with catastrophic consequences.

Author Bio

I'd love to say that writing has always been in my blood and I owe my strange imagination to a relative I barely knew, but as far as I know, I'm a one of a kind from my family (in more ways than one!!)
So what do I love to write about? Well, whatever takes my fancy to be quite honest. I'm not one to write for the market - I write for myself, what comes from the voices, sorry - muses, in my head, and what I think are unique twists in this repetitive world.
As a result, you can find me scattered across genres from steamy romance to dark fantasy and horror. My only hesitance at the moment is sci-fi but I'm sure I'll tackle it some day!
Conspiracy theories, the supernatural, and the darker side of human nature fascinate me. I adore mythology and ancient history too, and also (only when I'm feeling intellectual) tend to dip my toes into quantum physics to better understand theories of the supposed impossible.
I am a thirty-something mother to an 18 year old boy and 3 cats.

The Book Tour

Day 1 - Favourite Quotes

Azazel chuckled. “You’re nothing but a soppy hearted idiot with idealistic views of love. I would have thought after two millennia, you might have learned something.” (Eryn McConnell)
“It was one of her gran’s most favourite sayings about people. From the depths she had seen of Ben Worthington’s eyes in just a few seconds, he had a soul buried so deep, someone would lose theirs trying to find it.” (Sophie Jupillat Posey)
'Please,' Balthazar said, gesturing towards the house. 'Don't let our impending doom stop you, feel free.' (Kirsty McKay)

Day 2 - Character Summaries

Azazel: Without a doubt, the blonde demon brother is my favourite in the book. He’s so funny and had me laughing throughout the story. Every time he was in a scene he elevated it and made me enjoy it more. (Eryn McConnell)

Dylan: It was hard choosing a favourite character; I think my favourite is Dylan. He is described as a bad boy from the start. We get a steamy introduction to him from the get-go. But under the hyper masculine dominant side, there is a sensitive soul in there. He is the catalyst to Kyla’s chain of events even with the arrival of the demons. He is one of the few who tries to address her trauma straight on. Throughout the book he shows how much he cares again and again despite the intense pushback he gets. His moral compass is strong and his feelings keep developing despite obstacles. I loved his steadfastness mixed with bad boyness. He went above and beyond the hot alpha character mold. (Sophie Jupillat Posey)

My favourite character has to be Azazel, I just love the banter and sarcastic wit which was highly entertaining. (Kirsty McKay)

Day 3 - Favourite Excerpts

Azazel, still recovering from his belt to the head from the damn wolf, sat up and looked around him, dumbfounded. When he saw Sam, stood a few feet away from him, smiling, he frowned, and said, 'well that escalated quickly.' 'Get your ass up,' she hissed. 'I knew something wasn't right with you two. Do you have any idea how complicated you've just made all of this?' 'Me?' Azazel said, struggling to believe he was being blamed. 'I'm the good guy here.' 'You should have told us from the outset what you were, dammit. Could have avoided all of this.' Azazel snorted. 'I doubt that, sweetheart. You lot might have the roles of peacekeepers, but you're just as dirty as the rest of us. The only difference is you have a righteous mask to hide behind.' (Kirsty McKay)

Azazel sucked in a deep breath, closed his eyes, and let his breath out with an appreciative groan. “Can you smell it, Balti? Can you smell the sweet scent of all those mortal females?” A muscle in Balthazar’s cheek twitched as he narrowed his eyes at his brother. “Don’t call me that.” Choking almost to death on a spicy Indian dish over thirty years ago had been nothing but humiliating for Balthazar and only pure entertainment for Azazel ever since. “The jokes getting a little old now, Azazel. Grow up. A bit of maturity once in a while wouldn’t hurt, you know. Zay Zay.” (Eryn McConnell)

Warmth and hope flowered inside Sam, filling her stomach with butterflies. ‘I’d really like that,’ she said, her face flushing bright red. ‘So please, help us understand Kyla a little better.’ (Sophie Jupillat Posey)
