Waiting for Mango Season By Author Ellie Cooper – Book Review

For two years, Ellie spent time in India which overlapped with the Covid 19 pandemic and lockdowns. Her book, Waiting for Mango Season, tells of her thrilling adventures during this time. She learned to ride a vintage but  rusty Royal Enfield motorbike to allow her taste for exploration to continue into some of the wildest and most remote parts of the country. Conquering some of the world’s most dangerous roads, despite being a novice biker without a licence, and learning about mechanics along the way. Her journey is painted vividly for the reader to digest as if seeing and experiencing it themselves. As travel books go, this is a good one that I could easily recommend to others.

I award 4 stars.
