‘Time out of time’ by Alex Marchant is  a captivating story filled with imagination. Allie and her family move to an old building called Priory farm house that is full of history. Allie discovers a bricked up doorway in her new run down bedroom, and she never could have dreamed that this doorway was a portal to the future and the past. During her experiences of travelling through time, Allie learns all to well the real history of their new home, and what will become of it in the future. The author has readers hooked to the page in this magical story that is sure to broaden the readers imagination. I award this book 5 stars.
