In what marks the sixth book of The Rider Files series. C.B Samet has proven herself to be a master of standalone intriguing plots moving at breakneck pace. With a writing skill, intelligent and comprehensible. As a doctor herself, Samet integrates an uncanny pharmaceutical company, where the doctors unsuspectingly uncover medical evidence for devastating drug side effects, putting their lives in danger. This is a fast-paced medical mystery spiced with romance. The storyline is intelligent and informative, the writing style easy-flowing with good use of the language and vocabulary, the characters are well-developed and described and the attraction between Jess and Reece is steamy with Reece’s commitment issues thrown in.
