The Magic of Misty Nook: Bruno and Friends By Author Christine Skippins – Book Review

How true it is that Dogs have owners and Cats have Staff. Have you ever seen an animal’s character and personality shining through? Woody and his tam of Misty Nook elves do this every day with every animal they care for. This book tells the tales (should that be tails?!) of ten very special animals, celebrating their personalities and differences.

Author Christine Skippins has done it again! I’d love to have children to read this with! Each animal’s story could be a short bedtime read. I found a few editing issues I’d bring to the author’s attention, but nothing that would spoil a readers enjoyment. Characters and their dialogue are superbly presented for readers of all ages. The plot moves at a steady pace for younger readers to easily follow when reading alone. As usual, the illustrations really bring the stories to life. I award 5 stars.
