This delightful book follows Aya and her friends, Sacha and Chiric, on a wonderful adventure as they learn the importance of looking after the planet and all the creatures who live here. The story features a strong, empathetic character who learns various lessons about taking care of the planet, self-care, patience and mindfulness. The ancillary characters feel well-rounded too. The story is well-encapsulated into different sub-plots that unfold naturally. The dialogue is cute but full of wisdom. The plot and pacing were just right; a satisfying story in every sense of the word that will be helpful in teaching kids important lessons. The worksheets and activities embedded in the book add to the educational benefits of this story.
