Niki Naki Noo is a character and a story full of mystery, magic and mischief. Rumours are everywhere about what he looks like, where he lives and what he likes to do. Some say he’s orange, some say he’s blue. Some say he lives in the desert where he likes to do tricky arithmetic. Others say he lives in the North Pole and hangs out with Santa! Others still say he actually lives quietly in the countryside running a hospital for injured insects. There is even a rumour he came from outer space! The truth is nobody really knows as no-one has ever really seem him. Or have they? Perhaps you have?

Niki Naki Noo By Authors Richard E. Evans & Alex Crump – Book Review

Niki Naki Noo is a children’s picture book with a target age group of 2-7 years, although I’d say more at the younger end of the scale. The author has set up the rhyming narrative structure and no complex use of language in the book makes it more appealing to its readers. The text to visuals is balanced and encourages visual engagement. With so many questions arising as the book progresses, this is a good start to inspiring and educating developing young minds, plus of course encouragement of reading.
