Nani Won’t Sleep By Author R. K. Nixon – Book Review

The clocks have gone forward, it’s bedtime but the sun is still awake. Nani doesn’t understand why it’s bedtime if the sun it still up.

A wonderful children’s story that helps to teach children about the clock changes and why it’s important to go to sleep on time with great characterisations and dialogue that is believable and appropriate for the age group intended. The plot is fantastic for school age children and moves at a satisfactory pace with brilliant, bright and colourful illustrations to bring the writing to life. There is a slight editing/formatting issue where I felt that the text ran so close to the edge of the page, and when you are reading towards the centre of the book (on the left pages) it can make reading a little more challenging, but this is an easy fix by the Author. Apart from that, this is a great children’s book that teaches an important lesson.

I award 5 stars.
