Diving back into the oceans, this rhyming story delivers an excellent message of individuality and acceptance.
Ted is back with his friends but as happy as he is, he’s made to feel miserable because he’s red. It’s up to his friends to help him realise what truly matters; a fantastic message for little readers and a great story to encourage children to grow their own self-esteem and sense of self-love.
Again told entirely through rhyme, you’ll feel like you’re bobbing along on the waves. There are a few lines that don’t quite fit into a rhythmic pattern at times so it may be useful for adults to model reading aloud or certainly to share the story with little ones.
A lovely dive into the ocean with a wonderful point to the story, The Book Dragon reviewed this on behalf of the author and awards it 4 stars.
