The first book in the series, although it is a standalone in its own right, Lovely Oblivion Jade is a real page turner of an ‘easy’ book. Well written, it ensures you want to keep reading until the end. Lovely Oblivion is a young all girl rock group, and drummer Jade deals with the pros and the cons of fame – until her stalker brings the whole group into danger. Enter Vittroli Security Specialists, extra hired muscle brought in by the group’s record label. Each girl has her own bodyguard, and Ryker as the man in charge takes Jade under his protective wing. He is determined despite the obvious sparks between them to remain professional at all times, but finds a way for them to enjoy a private break together where their relationship is christened. This is no fling for either of them, and they each have found a true match – in attitude, partner preferences and life. Throughout the book, the characters and their dialogue, the plot and the way that the author has written leads me to awarding 5 stars. Readers to note that there is a lot of explicit adult content in this book.
