Following the pattern established by the previous book in this series, Book 3 picks up exactly where the previous instalment left off. This gives a dynamic feel to the story, throwing us directly back into the heart of the action. As ever, life for Caitlyn in Whitby is far from dull. There’s twists and turns in every chapter of the book and it’s hard to stop reading once you get caught up in its pages. Further secrets of the supernatural world are revealed to our heroine as the pacy prose progresses and the reader finds themselves on a rollercoaster journey through a world of witches, werewolves, vampires and much more.
Can Caitlyn come to understand the full potential of her power? Will her relationship with her soulmate continue to grow in depth? I for one can’t wait for C.J. to write the next book in the series, so I can find out! I award 5 out of 5 stars.
