I Know What You’re Thinking written by Author Phill Featherstone tells the story of two young adults, Beth and Cameron, who share a strong psychic connection that allows them to know what the other is thinking and feeling. When Cameron becomes the target of a sinister medical facility that engages in criminal acts for their wealthy clientele, Beth has to use her abilities to track down Cameron before it’s too late. But she is not alone. Beth’s path crosses with another family who are seeking revenge on the clinic after one of their own also falls foul of its criminal activities.
The Author introduces some interesting twists and turns, with a good balance of suspense and drama. The dialogue is relevant and each character is relatable and brings an added dimension to this book as the author cleverly weaves their stories together resulting in a gripping climax. There were however occasions towards the latter end of the book where I felt the author didn’t make sufficient use of the connection he had established between Beth and Cameron, especially when it came down to physically locating Cameron. Instead the focus of the connection was more in Beth knowing whether Cameron was still alive, and in what condition they would find him in. An opportunity lost there to add more depth to this story. Overall I really enjoyed this book and so I award 4.5 stars.
