Cover Blurb:

I am proud of who I am explores the hopes and dreams of pre-teens and teenagers from across the globe and invites you to explore their home with them. This book is intended to break down barriers and remove stereotypes; to demonstrate that no matter where we are from in the world, we all have hopes and dreams, as well as something about our country for which we are proud.

I am Proud of who I am: I hope you are too (Book 11) by Author B Woster – Book Review

Produced in hardback, this appealing book would sit well in any school library. A great tool for staff to teach about diversity, ethnicity, and how different and yet alike is the human race.

A couple of typing errors unfortunately, and I suggest the author give thought to producing in paperback to reduce the cost and make it more accessible to both children’s pockets, and to school budgets.

As this is Book 11, I am sure the preceding 10 editions are equally interesting, but I’d also urge the author to include less American states and stick to countries to keep her global audience engaged.

An interesting and well-presented book for confident readers, with a great message of equality and confidence for today’s children.

I award 4 stars.
