Hiding in Plain Sight By Author Lucy Felthouse – Book Review

Hiding in Plain Sight by Author Lucy Felthouse is an erotic romance, which tells the story of Mallory Scott, a female British espionage operative, who is asked to infiltrate a gang of diamond thieves and uncover evidence that will lead them to be convicted. She is a strong willed and sassy character who is not afraid to use her feminine wiles to get the job done and bring the criminals to justice.

Not one to give away her heart easily, Mallory is shocked to discover that in the course of carrying out her duties, she has fallen in love with one of the diamond thieves. Baxter Collinson, who charms Mallory with his wit, humour and irresistible physique, leads her to make a choice between putting her heart or career first.

With erotic adult content, which is not for those readers who are uncomfortable with the subject and exploration of sex, Hiding in Plain Sight, is a read that moves at a good pace, as the main protagonists fall in love during their respective missions. Their interactions both inside and outside of the bedroom are in the main believable with relevant dialogue. Whilst I enjoyed reading Mallory’s story, I would have liked to have seen a lot more drama and tension introduced by the author. The couples circumstances seemed to be resolved far too conveniently for them, without any major challenges presented, or hurdles to overcome.

Overall a good read and to which I award 3.5 stars.
