Franco and the Green Light Fairy By Author Fiona Lowry – Book Review

This cute little story focuses on Franco, a 6-year-old boy who loves cars. His special dream is to own a red Ferrari one day. In the meantime, he has issues with waiting in traffic; red lights are his enemy. His mom offers him a positive solution in order to deal with his impatience: think of the green light fairy, an excellent metaphor for thinking positive thoughts and eventually they will manifest. The story flows well, and the character is really endearing. The dialogue is believable and relatable. The ending felt a bit abrupt with its final scene, but the rest of the story was well done.
