Floating Words By Author Bok Bok Books – Book Review

A collection of children’s poetry by Bengali authors, exploring a deep cultural and personal connection with water.

This is a book that is a bit different, with lots of different authors, who naturally write in their own ‘Voice’. A good starting point for children to dip their toes in the water of poetry, no pun intended!! Such complementary learning activities could be built around taking a common theme, like water, and working on their own style of poetry, and the art of expression. Educational content balanced with engaging illustrations make this a picture book that is more for the older readers of the age range 2-7 years. I believe this book will help to build emotional intelligence, inspire creativity and encourage reading. I award 4 stars as detailed below.
