Dogs at the Zoo By Author Michael McCarthy – Book Review

A beautiful book to collect and keep in your children’s early years, Dogs at the Zoo brings another bundle of chaotic energy. It’s just part of the parcel of Woodstock and Churchill, the dogs Michael McCarthy has lovingly created.

This time, instead of the dogs causing mayhem, it’s the animals at the zoo that do! However, our two friends are eager to meet every single creature; each is described in a fantastic manner that captures their personality and appearance.

Beautiful images accompany the story that’s told entirely through rhyme. It’s energetic and pacey and will have you bouncing through the book, just like our two protagonists!

Reviewed on behalf of the author, Dogs at the Zoo is a wonderfully happy tale and is awarded 5 stars.
