Bog the Ogre in the Cellar By Author Peter A. Johnson – Book Review

Enchanting and heart-warming, this tale serves to demonstrate the good and kindness that can be found within people.

Jacob is our protagonist in this story and he’s fascinated by the stories about the terrifying ogre who lives in the cellar but he refuses to believe them and thinks that there must be something more to those see terrible noises he hears. With great courage and bravery, he sets out to discover the truth and finds that you can’t always judge a book by its cover. A wonderfully descriptive and overall engaging narrative, you can’t help but be drawn in by plot line. Even more invaluable are the messages of kindness and respect within the book, which are clear for even younger readers to see.

Told through spellbinding poetry, the entire book has a rhythmic feel that immerses you in the plotline. Accompanying the tale are some excellent images which cover the entire pages and with their high-quality feel, the book is a real find.
