A tiny angel follows the Wise Men (and the star) towards Bethlehem, making friends along the way and giving a lovely message to children about being ‘good enough’ just as they are. The illustrations are detailed and bright, and Angel Small is cute and engaging. I enjoyed that some of the dialogue is highlighted in different font to emphasise speech, and can picture early readers joining in with these sections and learning in a fun and proactive way. Produced to a high standard in design, grammar, punctuation, and quality, this would make an ideal Christmas gift and would sit well on any primary school bookshelf. I award 4 stars.
