The final page of this beautifully written book brought a tear to my eye. With a unique approach to the Christmas story, the author deftly creates a wonderful adventure for the titular Angel Small. Too tiny to attend the birth of Jesus he, nevertheless, sneaks along, making friends and learning important lessons along the way. Produced to a very high standard, with charming illustrations and easy-to-read font, this book will appeal to confident primary age readers, and to those children who enjoy story time. A great addition to any school library. Highly recommended. I award 5 stars.
