A Study in Steam: A Steampunk Victorian Mystery (Ladies of WACK Book 1)  By Author Stephanie K. Clemens – Book Review

The first book in the series, this is written from the steam engineering studying student, Pippa. Upon reflection, of the three young ladies whom she meets at University – for they are the only four allowed to be there – she is the best fit for telling the story. The author has crafted her characters very well indeed, and it is plain that lots of research has taken place before the final draft was created. Overall, a 5 star review. A wonderfully engaging and thrilling read across the historical fiction and murder mystery genre.
