This children’s book does a new take on the well-known trope of storks delivering babies to families. Instead, on an island of magical elephants, a young elephant called Elvis waits for his important orders – to deliver a baby to a new happy couple! Elvis’s journey isn’t simple as he tries to deliver the baby. The rhyming is predictable and fun to follow. The characters are adorable and Elvis is easy to root for. The story feels satisfying and complete; I maybe would have liked to see more obstacles during Elvis’s trip but the payoff is worth it in the end.
