Every choice has a consequence, even if you’re famous sea captain Zale “the Gale” Murdoch.
Following Murdoch and his crew’s quest for the mythical Grimstone, Murdoch’s Mates find their home town of Warvonia in a dire state.
The once major sea hub, Warvonia’s harbour is in ruin, covered in life-threatening darkfrost.
High Count Vidimir Tefu, Zale’s former client, will stop at nothing to restore the full might of Void, as he views this as the kingdom’s salvation. Sorcery and Ancient forces from the Shadow Age are rallied against Zale and his crew.
Starlina Murdoch witnesses both her father and her fiance, Jensen, fall to the Shadow’s devices, knowing she must find strength within herself she never knew existed to take up her father’s quest for the Eye of Shi’kha. All the while, she wonders if she will see Jensen or her father again.
What will happen to Zale, Starlina and Murdoch’s Mates? Find out in Murdoch’s Shadow!
I have absolutely no qualms about recommending this. I just love Wayne’s work, his first book I made the highest honour of stating it was up there with the infamous Sir Terry Pratchett – and I was not let down by the second volume. Buy it and devour it! I award 5 stars. Wish it could be 10!!
