In the first part of this steamy romance novella, readers are introduced to the character of Playboy Alexi who is trying to clean up his party boy image and prove to his father that he is capable of performing his role as CEO of his fathers company. A ‘love them and leave them’ kind of guy he is told he must settle down and marry, and the task of finding a suitable bride begins. However Alexi falls in love fast and hard for his chosen wife Anya, a Russian Model. But it seems she cannot completely let go of her past behaviours and slips back into old habits. When a tragic accident occurs, Alexi’s path to true love is altered forever.
This is a fast paced story with a credible plot and characters that readers can connect with. The plot has plenty of drama and steamy/erotic romance scenes keeping fans of this genre engaged and turning the pages. The novella would benefit from a further editing pass as the Author has a tendency to slip in and out of different tenses, but whilst noticeable this is not too distracting and will not spoil the readers enjoyment of the story.
