Shattered Dreams By Author Ulf Lehmann – Book Review

Epic Grimdark Reality Fantasy where magic returns via an elven wizard sent to recover a dangerous secret.

Drangar Ralgon has to face his long ago committed crimes, fleeing his solitary life as a shepherd once life takes turns well beyond his control.

The kingdom of Danastaer will be invaded by neighbouring Chanastardh, as holy warrior Kildanor discovers. In Dunthiochagh, Danastaer’s oldest city, the sorceress Ealisaid awakens from hibernation of a century to learn the Dunthiochagh she knew is no more.

The main characters of Drangar and Kildanor are excellent; the author has created a whole fantasy world most beautifully. Sadly, the book needs a lot of editing, but this is something the author can easily correct. A lot of it was confusing, especially where several characters had two names, but this is a tale that has bucketloads of potential for lovers of this genre.

I award 3 stars.
