Cover Blurb:

An outcast among his kind, Arias the Gryphon is taken aback when a group of newcomers called Strigigryph offer him a place among their ranks. Their territory is stunning, but Arias can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. Why don't other Gryphons here ever speak? What is the leader of the Strigigryph trying to hide? And how can Arias learn more when every tree seems to be posted with sentries? Arias's discoveries could mean more than just the end of the world as Gryph-kind knows it. It could mean watching the destruction of an entire ecosystem.

A Gryphons Journey by Author Katherine Brown – Book Review

The Book Dragon was given a copy of A Gryphons Journey directly by the Author, Katherine Brown, via the Voracious Readers website in exchange for an honest review.

A Gryphons Journey tells the story of the main protagonist Arias, a young gryphon who is born different. He is kicked out of his flock as a newborn and is taken to Naugi, the Hydra.

Sheba, the matriarch expects Naugi to kill the baby gryphon just because he was born white as she believes that a white gryphon is bad luck. However Xio the Alicorn intervenes and rescues Arias adopting him as his own.

As Arias grows into a yearling, he goes on a journey to find out where he belongs and who his real parents are. There are many twists and turns along the way as Arias continues his journey, one of self discovery, and where he must face true evil and overcome the danger that lies in wait for him.

I really enjoyed reading, A Gryphon’s Journey and have awarded this a well deserved 5 stars.
