When We Love By Author Tracey Gerrard – Book Review

When We Love is the 3rd Book in the Ain’t Nobody Series written by Author Tracey Gerrard. Having thoroughly enjoyed Books 1 & 2, I have to admit that I wasn’t sure how the Author could continue on with the story of Holly Spencer & Vladimir Petrov as Book 2 seemed to reach a natural conclusion. I mention this as I have come across a few novels where the Author has been so reluctant to let go of their characters that they stretch the plot too far and in so doing ruin the story for the reader. Would Holly and Vladimir have enough in their happily ever after to fill another book and keep the reader satisfied?

Absolutely! I applaud the Author for a fantastic 3rd instalment and another emotional rollercoaster ride. ‘When We Love’ offers all the drama, tension, passion and love of its predecessors with the introduction of two new and adorable characters who join the family. Readers will instantly bond with Mathew and Max, as their heartfelt story is shared. Again the plot moves at a great pace and the dialogue is credible, the story told from both Holly and Vladimir’s point of view.

I very much wanted to award the Author the maximum star rating however the odd editorial issues currently prevent me from doing so. These don’t distract from the reader’s enjoyment and once the Author addresses I am very happy to revise my scores for all 3 books.

I therefore award 4.5 stars.
