Grandad, Where’s Your Hair? by Author Tony Sands – Book Review

A fabulous title and cover illustration that will immediately grab a child’s attention – especially if they have a balding Grandad.

The pictures are big and bright, and I loved seeing the little girls’ expressions change as the story progressed. Vibrant and colourful illustrating.

A unique tale. There is no moral message, or lesson to be learned. This book is purely about having fun and laughing. I think it achieves it’s aim. The ending is unexpected – a surprise in itself for children’s literature.

The activities at the rear of the book are an added bonus, and will keep children entertained even after the story has finished. I award Grandad, Where’s Your Hair, 4 stars.
