Any book reviewer embarking on a ‘saga’ would agree with me, roll their eyes knowingly and even shed a tear of sympathy, because it is quite the task without divulging “spoilers” to ruin the party. And as a fan of all fiction, spoilers are a bane. So, I refuse to give away any snippet of ominous conversation or quote a dramatic scene. But what I will say is that Paul Cude weaves, once again, an amazing tale, driving home the ethic that nothing in life worth having comes free of its modicum of risk. A life without uncertainty is no life at all. He asks if you are willing to work hard and dare to risk it all? It could go spectacularly wrong…
But what if it worked?
I lied.
I’m human.
Here’s a quote to let newcomers know what they are in for when they pick up a book by Paul Cude:
“A dragon call to arms echoed out across the kingdom to every living and breathing member of their race. The world had been savagely attacked.”
The dragon and human population must unite and rebuild their world. But is there more to this than they realise? Can they trust each other?
The chaos of book two, A Chilling Revelation, only fuelled the fire of a game the dragons once loved. But now they must vie for their lives.
Visually stunning, funny, an age-old theme with a unique twist, A Twisted Prophecy is a brilliant tale for the lover of fantasy fiction.
5 Stars.
