White by Author Angelina J. Steffort – Book Review

Although White is aimed for a young adult reading audience, all adult lovers of paranormal fiction are equally guaranteed to enjoy this story as much as our younger readers. Written by best selling author of young adult and paranormal fiction, Angelina J Steffort, White, is the first book in her ‘Wings’ series.

Beautifully written and bringing a different perspective to the angelic realm and the presence of angels, White, integrates all the trials and tribulations of young adult life, mixed with the adult complications of love, and then adding further depth and conflict, by introducing the complexities of a relationship between a human and a supernatural being. As an avid reader of all paranormal and supernatural fiction, I am completely hooked by the world in which Angelina has created, and very much looking forward to reading and reviewing the next book in the series.

White, is a captivating story, that reminds us all, of the fear and the thrills of falling in love for the very first time. But whilst many of us will have come out of our first relationships relatively unscathed, this is not the case for our protagonist Claire, and that is all the Book Dragon can disclose in this review. The love story of Claire, and Adam, is one full of exciting twists and turns, that keep you turning those pages over, and so we don’t want to spoil the book for our readers, or the incredible pleasure, and sadly pain of events, by giving everything away in this review that truly makes, White, one of our most highly rated reads.

As the exciting drama unfolds, the reader is gripped from beginning to end, and takes an emotional rollercoaster ride to its exciting, but completely unexpected climax…warning there is a cliff hanger!

White, is well written, and Angelina builds an instant connection between her readers and the characters. I personally adore Claire’s Guardian Angel who comes to her aid whenever she is in mortal peril; and who doesn’t find the thought of falling in love with an angel an enchanting concept? A being so perfect and so pure, setting any girl’s heart racing, with their beauty and their desire, and wishing to know the same love.

But where there is perfection and goodness, there is also jealousy and evil. White, is not just a story about love…

For those who love tales full of darkness, peril and drama, you will be thoroughly entertained by, White, too.

Thank you Angelina, for sharing, White, with the Book Dragon. I loved the book and so award this 5 Stars.
