Olbas and the Library of Dragon Dreams By Author Susie Bennett – Book Review

Olbas and the Library of Dragon Dreams is a fantastic children’s picture book to inspire readers. Aimed at younger readers, 3-7 years, it could also inspire older ones with forever themes of kindness and making friends with similar interests. Olbas is a young non-threatening dragon who loves to read! The book presents as a fun and entertaining read, and my expectations were as such.

The author has created in Olbas a character who features in many other books, and rightly so. Children will emphasise with him and love him, I’m sure, because I did. An easy to follow storyline backed up by appropriate vocabulary, the story flow makes sense either read aloud or quietly alone. Enhanced by vivid illustrations that compliment the text, this book should hold reader attention easily and leave a lasting impression. Steadily paced, with curiosity encouraged by imagination inspiring magical elements.

This is a book that I can recommend to younger readers, with a 5 star rating.
