What if things had been different?
Stories stay with us long after we’ve turned the final page. Sometimes we find ourselves wishing a character had made a different choice, a journey had taken another path, or an ending had unfolded in a more satisfying way.
In this unique Writing for Wellbeing workshop, qualified counsellor Dahlian Kirby invites participants to explore the power of storytelling, imagination and reflection through the simple but profound act of rewriting an ending.
Using guided exercises and a specially designed workbook, you’ll be encouraged to revisit a fictional story whose ending disappointed you and create a new one. Along the way, you’ll explore themes of choice, resilience, possibility and perspective in a supportive and welcoming environment.
This workshop is not about producing perfect writing. It is about creativity, self-expression and discovering how stories can help us reflect on our own experiences and wellbeing.
No previous writing experience is required. Participants are welcome to share their writing with the group if they wish, but all activities can be completed privately.
