I’d recommend this book for new adults (18+), due to the mature nature within the book. Kerry Fowers presents an extremely heartfelt show of grief and fight for justice while fitting within the genre of thriller. Therefore new adults would have the ability to comprehend this complex layered ideas and can use these ideas as a lesson in empathy. I award 4.5 stars.

- The reader’s interest is captivated immediately in the prologue, the author explores a range of emotions in these few pages. However the interest is slightly lost due to the lack of world building in the first couple of chapters but it is picked up again towards the end of the story.
