An Ancient Connection By Author J M Newsome – Book Review

An Ancient Connection brings the story of Suzanne and Themis to a rich and satisfying close, continuing the intrigues that began in The Boy in Two Minds and deepened in The Girl in Two Worlds. This final instalment weaves together familiar faces and compelling new characters, all while maintaining the same vivid historical immersion and emotional insight that defined the earlier books.

The author skilfully balances drama and introspection, romance and danger, as the intertwined lives of Suzanne and Themis reach their conclusion. With time travel, ancient politics, and personal transformation all still at play, readers who’ve followed the journey this far will find plenty more to enjoy. The trilogy’s final act offers both suspense and resolution, making it well worth reading through to the end.

It’s well worthy of the 5 stars I’ve awarded it.
