Eligibility Requirements

Prohibited Activities
- Spamming or unsolicited marketing
- Misleading claims about The Book Dragon or its services
- Bidding on The Book Dragon’s brand terms in paid search
- Creating websites that mimic The Book Dragon’s branding
- Using The Book Dragon’s name in domain names
Programme Duration
- Initial affiliate agreement is for 12 months
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled with 30 days’ notice
- The Book Dragon reserves the right to terminate any affiliate relationship for violations of terms
Payment Details
- Minimum payout threshold: £25
- Payment methods: Direct bank transfer or PayPal
- Commission is calculated on the net amount after VAT and discounts
- Commission rates are subject to review annually
- Referrals are verified through unique affiliate discount codes used at checkout
- Affiliates will receive a detailed commission statement with each payment
- This is a self-employed contractor relationship, not employment
Referral Process
- Each affiliate will receive a unique discount code to share with potential customers
- These codes don’t provide an actual discount but identify which affiliate referred the customer
- Customers must enter the affiliate’s code at checkout for the referral to be counted
- The Book Dragon will maintain records of all referrals based on the discount codes used
- Affiliates should maintain their own records of referred customers
- Any discrepancies must be reported within 30 days of commission statements
- The Book Dragon’s final determination of valid referrals will be binding
