When Abraham, a boy convinced he was born on Saturn, gets a baby sister, he’s the only one who can translate the strange noises Mathilda makes. Excited to discover that she is from the moon, the siblings quickly learn just how much they have in common, and how little their parents really know!

My Sister’s from the Moon by Author Peter Blakey-Novis – Book Review

Written in rhyme, this illustrated picture book explores the relationship between a boy and his new baby sister. As he is the only person to fully understand her gurgles, he translates for his parents, explaining what she says and wants.

This is a delightful story, suitable for reading aloud and sharing with very young children ages 2-5 years.

Simple, colourful illustrations provide cheerful backdrops to the text on each page.

I award 4 Stars.
