Chris T was born in 1978, 33 years after the great invocation that was given to humanity and at the age of 33 in 2012, he became an enlightened master. These teachings are a testament to what he discovered on the path of solar initiation, but this time his teachings are not shrouded in allegory or fables, but rather in black and white for everyone to see. The Way of Emotion is a manual of emotion and a practical guide to spiritual enlightenment. If you are a truth seeker and scientifically minded, you will not be disappointed. This book offers insight into the causes of suffering and how to overcome it. Spiritual Psychology fuses spirituality and psychology together as one unified whole revealing to us the mysteries of the soul.

The Way of Emotion: A Path to Liberation By Author Chris T. – Book Review

The Way of Emotion: A Path to Liberation written by Author Chris T is a thought provoking read which will appeal to anyone who has an interest in human psychology and behaviours. There are many scientific and evidence based references throughout this text, with diagrams to demonstrate visually the author’s thoughts and insights into the links between emotion and energy. For those who are spiritually minded, much of what the author demonstrates throughout the writing will make sense and resonate. Through awareness of our emotions, we can see how differing emotions can influence the bodies energy system not only on a physical level e.g. chemical changes in the brain, and reactions in the endocrine system, but on a mental and spiritual level too. Thus, the author highlights that by understanding these links, this will empower an individual to be able to take control, learn and grow from this knowledge, ensuring inner peace and gaining balance.

There are some mild references to Christianity and Buddhism but this is not felt overall to be a religious text, and there are many religions, which I believe, would connect to what the author is saying.

The language used is complex at times with its scientific references and so those who do have a grounding in psychology and human behaviour or a medical background will be more familiar and comfortable with the terms used. I have not studied psychology but on the whole I could follow what the author was explaining in this text, and largely this made sense to me. There was an odd statement where my own spiritual views and teaching would disagree with what the author had stated, and so this was not my truth. But I did not feel in the writing that the author was trying to force my acceptance of this, but merely to demonstrate another way of thinking and why he believed this.

Overall not what I expected when I first picked up the book to read, which goes back to never judging a book by its cover. I found the writing and information contained interesting, although I cannot comment in terms of the credibility of the sources of reference used, as I have no expertise in this area.

I award, The Way of Emotion, 4 stars.
